Dear Residents,
We have been advised by Lendlease Construction of the below out of hours works and road closures.
As part of the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation, Lendlease is undertaking out of hours works on the perimeter of the Arts Centre Melbourne, City Road and Southgate Avenue on Wednesday 19th August 2026 (22:00 HRS) to Thursday 20th August 2026 (05:00HRS); AND
Thursday 20th August 2026 (22:00 HRS) to Friday 21st August 2026 (05:00 HRS).
The works include installing a gantry over City Road, via a crane set up on Southgate Avenue.
What to expect:
- Low construction noise
- Increased construction personnel and heavy vehicles
- Detours impacting access to properties via Southgate Avenue/70 City Road
